Let me share with you the joys of motherhood.
My daughter, whom I fondly call Rara nowadays, is growing up fast each day. She brings joy to every minute of my life. My idea of a perfect day is feeding her, playing with her, talking to her and thinking of my beautiful plans for her.
Here she is now:

antok na yan ng lagay na yan!
- Rara is always making pa cute with her eyes. Once you call her name, she winks, and as if repeatedly squinting, she smiles the sweetest smile
- she gets excited whenever someone arrives in the house to greet her. She's kinda excited to come to you as if she hasn't seen you for a long time
- she loves the Pampers CD collection. And when you're singing to her, she will gaze at your mouth with her look so concentrated as if checking where the sound is coming from - she loves all TV commercials with babies
- whenever I aim my phone camera to her, she gets excited and she will give you that instant smile.
- during her incessant cry, she will stop crying once she hears her own recording (in my phone) of shouting and wailing garbled sound. Also she calms when she hears the beautiful rendition of Evanessence "My Immortal"
- she's also doing the ever popular "close-open" hand act spontaneously (even without you singing to her the famous tune ha ha!)
- she's fond of observing everything that twirls - once she's riding her stroller, and all throughout the ride she uncomfortably leans her body on one side just to see a better view of the wheels twirling as we move
It makes me feel kinda guilty whenever I leave the house for a while to attend to some other things. I want to witness all her play, her new antics. I remembered one mommy-to-mommy talk I had with a friend and we both agreed on a wonderful realization...caring for our baby makes us laugh, excited and think positive about our plans in life. It's different now, we can't afford to fall short. We have to nourish life and be the best person we can be to make our child grow in the safest and healthiest environment we can give or create for them. The kind of person they will become depends on who we are as parents.
Now I know what life is all about..Live it and love it!
"Now Im older and my problems are deeper but I’m more equipped to handle them"..........naah I'm making it more hopeful :D
