Well, that serves as a prelude as I introduced the characters and the scenes from the movies which made me want to live out my silly fantasies of living the life that they portray, to be him or her exactly, or at least, be in that scene and feel good or bad by association...
Before Sunrise - "When love can come as a complete surprise".... being Celine (Julie Delpy) and meeting someone during a long train ride, talking about anything under the sun, and spending a romantic evening in a place which is both new to you. Unfortunately, you also have to endure the feeling that this is probably the only night that you'll be together
Before Sunset - "What if you had a second chance with the one that got away?" - being Celine again especially in the scene when she was asked to play the guitar and sang A Waltz For a Night, as Jesse listens with that cute smile in his face (me kilig factor)...haay...So little time, so much love..
The Little Women - being Jo March, and I looove this movie so much (all scenes)...parang ang sarap maging myembro ng March family...and Jo's ways of expressing her love for her family is really funny
Bridget Jones' Diary - I simply love being her as she was loved "just as she is". I love that scene when it seemed that Mark cannot contain his feeling any longer, and gave a short but a very meaningful acceptance of Bridget whom he simply likes just as she is. And Colin Firth is so gorgeous in here. I also enjoy his fight scene with Daniel (played by Hugh Grant), not because I'm into pretty violent wave of anger, but simply because, the fight scene is sooo boyish
Pearl Harbor - wala, crush ko lang kasi talaga si Josh Hartnett (Capt Danny Walker)
Memoirs of A Geisha - wala, crush ko din The Chairman (Ken Watanabe) ha ha ha..Wow, I may fall pala for that type (I love his being compassionate,
which is expressed truly in how he cared for Sayuri)
What's Eating Gilbert Grape - Johnny Depp is my ultimate crush. Needless to say, all his films are a sure hit in my heart. This film is just interesting (maybe because they say Leonardo Di Caprio do better than him in this film)
Excess Baggage - nothing spectacular...it's just that I noticed Benicio del Toro for the first time and became interested in him (saw him again in Sin City). Also because "Crash Into Me" by DMB was played in that movie
Knight's Tale - Loved the way the film incorporated contemporary hard rock tunes and today's lingo into the movie and made it seem as thought it fit that time span. Heath Ledger is also gorgeous kahit madungis
The Devil Wears Prada - Love the perks, but not the job (fave actress ko talaga si Meryl Streep esp in House of the Spirits and Bridges of Madison County)
For now yan muna, I'll share more after my movie marathon.
"Now Im older and my problems are deeper but I’m more equipped to handle them"..........naah I'm making it more hopeful :D
