  Imagine Me & You!
One day, my daughter woke me up and greeted me the sweetest "Good morning, mommy". She then showed me her piece of art. I jumped out of bed to get my digicam and quickly took photos of her drawing (luckily, I did so before she erased it from her sketchboard)...

She said that I am the biggest image on her drawing....that and the concept of my three-year old Rara..

Sweet...

  Game Of Love

The "Game Of Love"....not just being my favorite thought nowadays...not just something that embraces me with mixed emotons - It makes me smile, dream, appreciate things more, be more creative, loving, and surprisingly.....become jealous once in a while, which is sweet :-)

It was also, literally, one of the songs that I enjoyed singing with the guest band, "Rewind" (fyi. Game of Love, a song by Michelle Branch), during the advance celebration of MY BIRTHDAY last night. The event was held at this quaint, charming resto bar, "Gardo's" (which is slowly gaining its popularity in Laguna). It was a fun night, just an intimate dinner party alongside rhythm and booze, attended by acquaintances, friends, and all my favorite people. I shared the event with my very good friend Arlene, who also celebrated her farewell party that night (she'll soon live down under in Oz), so we're actually the b-u-s-y people who planned the whole event (venue, invites, food & drink choices). But it was a breeze dealing with the management of Gardo's (thanks Marlon!). We discussed the party details just over the phone and scheduled only one personal meet up with them (for the food tasting!). We had a hard time choosing the date, but still opted to set it even on a Monday, as we anticipated that the whole week would be filled with countless parties, as everyone ride on the Christmas spirit hype.

The party was a success! Everyone enjoyed everything - singing and jamming with the acoustic band, dancing with frills and wit, exchanging hi's and hello's (some guests were my former officemates, so they had a chance to meet up again with everyone who are still in FCPP). My favorite college friends were there too. Prior to this, I actually weighed things up, and finally had these reasons to push through with having this kind of celebration:

-It's time to celebrate my birthday with friends (fyi, my birthday is actually on the 24th of December, so I never had a chance to organize one just in time for my birthday celebration. It would be impractical to add up to the stress of everyone who, at that same day, would all be preparing for noche buena at their own homes). Anyway, this time, yes, my celebration is about 9 days advance, but it brought the same spirit of fun.

-I am very happy right now (The past months have been full of surprises, I can't help but smile. Everything is zen to me, and the only thing that I want to do is be in the midst of beautiful people whom I shared my life with for the past years)

-I want to sing (It was a good chance to express my passion for music and singing. Hope they appreciated it! I also have proven this theory that videoke singing is a diversion of highly-stressed people, hehe. Naah, just kidding, I just noticed that during the party, yong mga "boss" are all dying to sing, mga "AIM" graduate - Ayaw Iwan ang Mic hehe).

-It's time to thank everybody nice to share some blessings (read: bonus), gather people and let them have a glimpse of my happiness, contentment, and appreciation of life.

It was definitely all F-U-N!!!
To all those who joined us, THANKS A LOT!
